Become a member of our Year Round Cedar Crate CSA program and get local, seasonal, sustainable vegetables all year round so you can eat the freshest, best-tasting, most nutrient dense produce any time of year!

Our CSA Share program is packed with features that make it convenient, flexible and easy to eat healthy, fresh produce from our farm harvested at the peak of ripeness! From flexible ordering, multiple pickup and delivery options and even FREE home delivery we make it easy to eat local.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign Up for the membership level that works for you. The higher the membership, the more you save! Farm credit is loaded onto your GrownBy account. Farm credit doesn’t expire and can be used on all products in our GrownBy store! Credit can also be used at the farmers market!!

  2. We send weekly (summer season) or bi-weekly (winter season) emails with what’s fresh and good each week so you never miss out on what’s in season!

  3. You place an order on the weeks you want to order. Going to be gone on vacation? No worries, we’ll be here when you get back!

  4. We harvest, wash, pack & deliver your order!

FAQs

What does CSA mean? What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. You, our farming community, help support local, small scale, sustainable ag by purchasing a CSA membership from our farm. In return, you get fresh, sustainable produce from our farm during our growing season.

How much produce is in my share?

You control how much produce is in your share each week. Each week we will refresh our store page and you’ll make your selections based on what we have available.

Are you Organic/Sustainable/GMO Free?

We are not certified organic but we use organic, regenerative and sustainable growing practices such as cover crops, reduced tillage, companion planting and crop rotation on our farm.

We do not spray synthetic chemicals on our produce nor do we use synthetic fertilizers.

We do not plant any GMO varieties.

How long do CSA Shares last?

Our farm grows year-round even in the winter. Our CSA membership is year-round and you can make purchases year round!

What are the pick up options for CSA Shares?

We have a variety of pickup options available including Thursdays at the Mankato Farmers Market and the Saint Peter Food Co-op and Friday on our farm.

We also offer free home delivery for orders above $50.

GrownBy, the website you use to manage your CSA, allows to switch your pickup location anytime you need!

What kinds of produce will I find in my share?

We grow over 90 varieties of produce each season and always try to have as much variety as possible. Our Farm Shares are also totally customizable so you can always tweak your share to get exactly what you want.
